Color Code Keys

I have a plethora of house keys, apartment keys, garage door, back door, and spare keys that I had to find something to organize these devices that all look the same. [Enter nail polish.] Pick bright, bold polishes that you can easily identify with a place and paint away. Afterward you can spray with a sealant spray to help the polish last longer. Super simple.

Glitz Charger

Happy April First Everyone!

Have you ever switched your iPhone charger with a friends, accidentally taken it home, and now you're stuck with the old run down one? Or maybe you just love matte glitter just as much as I do? I have a solution!

First cover all metal or openings with masking tape. Next you need an adhesive. Others suggest Elmer's glue but I found that ModPodge works much better. Using any brush spread the mixture evenly.

Pick your favorite glitter and begin releasing your inner child. I used extra paper to gather the excess glitter and pour it over the adapters again- saving as much as possible.

After it dries you need to use something to protect the glitter from falling off and getting all over your hands. I tried this nail polish first- it didn't work. Luckily, I had a spray paint bottle of clear protectant- industrial strength type- only $6 at your local store. I sprayed all of the glitz ends outdoors about three times and viola!

This is super simple and you are guaranteed to never mix up your chargers again!

Until next time,

Freebie! While you were out for subs

Dear fellow Teachers and Friends,

In the past month I have been subbing my brains out all across this city. Whether if it is preschool or seniors in high school, teachers like to have notes written about the day. They like it to be orderly and neat (although I'm sure some may prefer the post-it note chaos version too).

I created this note page to help simplify your subbing day.

This page helps me to organize my thoughts.
I encourage you to leave something like this for your substitute teachers, or if you ARE the substitute why don't you try this out, or better yet get artsy and make your very own!

Until next time,
Aleia
